Rolling Hills 4-H

GCYWGW

Hidden by Sharkz
Cupertino, California

4:52 Came here after attending a picnic at Stevens Creek. This was my favorite cache of the day. L-grl spotted it right after a muggle asked her if she needed help. In the meantime I was eyeing the naked pigs sleeping so peacefully in the dirt. We also watched the 4H girls clean the stalls. They are much stronger than they look! You should have seen them push the wheelbarrows around! We also admired the cute little goatlings, and also checked out the nearby garden. This place is a treasure.

I have seen the Light!

GCH485

Hidden by DCexplorerDoor County, Wisconsin

Found June 14, 2006

On the way back to Madison from Sister City where we vacationed for a few days, we stopped at Bailey's Harbor to view this lighthouse.

I noticed that the lake on this side is quite choppy compared to the western side of the peninsula.

Binary Blues Drei

(GC6AF7)
Hidden by Iron Chef
Bradley (north of Paso Robles on 101),
California

Found May 29, 2006

This was my favorite cache of Memorial Day weekend just because this town reminds me of the town in the science fiction film called "Tremors." I love towns in the middle of nowhere that are only one block long. This one did not even have a store, certainly no stop lights, and no cars, AND no people!! The town did contain a post office and a very small church. Loved it.

Travel Bug: Nurse Hanes (Back)

This is the back of the Nurse Hanes travel bug.
Scroll one picture below to read about it.

Travel Bug: Nurse Hanes (Front)

This project is not a watercolor but it is something I designed for the geocaching world. It a travel bug made with collaged scraps, photos, camo tape, metal and acrylic paints.

I used a CD case I received in the mail from AOL and transformed it into a "book." What you see here is the front of the travel bug.

To read the story behind this travel bug you can visit its
web page at:
http://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?id=78530

(I plan to release it into the wild on March 23, 2006)

Wildcat Canyon Cathedral

Wildcat Canyon Cathedral
GCN0BW
Rancho San Antonio
Los Altos Hills
Hidden by CKayaks
Found February 25, 2006

This was my favorite cache of the day. I loved your description of it, CKayaks. I have always thought of nature as my church too. This area did look like the interior of a cathedral the way the branches met each other to form a ceiling. Thank you for all your help in planning my route today and this wonderful place.

This Stop: Arleta!

This Stop: Arleta!
GCR5PA
Half Moon Bay
Hidden by the PurplePeople
Found February 08, 2005

I was delighted to soak in the sunshine and hunt for this cache. I would like nothing better than to live in a converted train station and live by the sea.
